Complete VAI analysis workflow

This chapter will outline the workflow for the main intended use of the module: namely efficient analysis of multi-echo dynamic data including lesion definition from structural dataset. The main workflow is as follows:

1. Load structural, perfusion and (optionally) ADC dataset in nordicICE

2. Load VAI module with structural data set as active data

3. If Nifti image format, set data format and image parameters for perfusion data

4. Drag & drop functional dataset into VAI module perfusion window

5. Check/ modify coregistration of perfusion- and structural series (optional)

6. Select volume of interest (VOI) and define lesion/tumor within VOI (optional)

7. Specify ADC map (optional)

8. Set perfusion options and perform perfusion/VAI analysis

9. Visualize functional maps on structural data (optional)

10. Generate / save statistical output (optional)

The VAI module can also be used for just defining and saving lesion volumes. In this case, no perfusion data needs to be loaded.
