DICOM Edit

This dialog enables the user to edit some of the header fields in DICOM images. This information will be used when the images are then stored from nordicICE to file, or to the DICOM database.

Anonymize

Replaces the name, id, birth date and accession number fields with default dummy values.

Note: The DICOM Edit dialog box is displayed when you choose the Image Header Edit ... command on the Modify menu

Tips:

• Note that if you select Anonymize here, and you later select "Save to database" for the series, you will be prompted to do a complete anonymization of the header, removing all potentially sensitive information.
