Resize the active window

Resizing the active window both changes the window size and magnifies or reduces the image to fit to the new window size.

  • Increase iconMain Menu Modify->Increase Image Size (Ctrl+E)

or

  • Increase iconMain Menu Modify->Reduce Image Size (Ctrl+E)

The displayed menu option depends on the size of the active image window. If the image window is at maximum size, the second menu option will be available; otherwise, the first option will be available.

Three window sizes are available in nordicICE. Clicking once increases the size from 256*256 to 512*512. Clicking twice increases the size to 768*768. This is the largest viewable window available. Clicking once more returns the window to the original size.

All images which have a matrix size of 256*256 or less will initially be displayed as 256*256 images. Images with a matrix size greater than 256*256 will be displayed as 512*512 images or 768*768 as appropriate. If images with different matrix size are loaded in the same set, the window size will be set according to the first image in the set. Images can be displayed at any desired size using the Movie window (see the section called Run movie ).

Alternatives:

  • To change the image magnification without changing the window size, zoom instead.
