Saving Images in DICOM format

Certain restrictions apply as to which images can be saved as DICOM images. In general, the input images need to be originally in DICOM for the output images to be saved in DICOM format. However, images derived from DICOM images (e.g. parametric maps) can be saved as DICOM images. If a given image cannot be saved as DICOM, then the .dcm save option will not be visible in the list of file types in the File Save dialog.
